Health Promotion Department

The Health Promotion Department was founded in 2010 to help empower the family and Sharjah community to have integrated health awareness. To that end, the Department strives to create an effective community environment guided by foundations of healthy living, build and strengthen supportive partnerships, and establish a comprehensive and accessible knowledge base to support health trends, and build community-based entities filled with distinguished national competencies.

• Friends of Breastfeeding Association (Founded in 2004, Publicity in 2021)
• Friends of Kidney Patients Association (Founded in 2006, Publicity in 2007)
• Friends of Diabetes Association (Founded in 2009, Publicity in 2021)
