Child Safety Department

In 2018, Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of the Sharjah Supreme Council for Family Affairs, issued a decision to establish the “Child Safety Department” which works towards reinforcing the goals and vision of the Child Safety Campaign – one of the Sharjah Supreme Council for Family Affairs initiatives that was launched in 2011.

The Department strives to raise awareness of the importance of preserving children’s safety, protection and social stability, thus achieving a better society in which children enjoy physical and psychological integrity.
