Mission
Family cohesion and stability is our mission. Strong family foundations built on values is our responsibility. Active family participation in societal development is our priority. Our operations are founded on best standards and practices, and run by qualified professional competencies.
Family Development Department & Branches (FDD) was established in 2000 as one of the institutions under the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah. The Center’s focus is the family; preserving the family unit and its identity, supporting the value system that guides it, deepening familial bonds, and strengthening family cohesion.
We endeavor to support family stability and cohesion. This is our mission and responsibility toward our society. We are blessed with the support of our inspiring leader His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, and his wife, Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammed Al Qasimi, President of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs. Our centers are located in the Emirate of Sharjah and its Central and Eastern Regions, and are run by elite professionals holding qualifications and competencies that keep pace with family needs and requirements, and which contribute to family stability within a cohesive society.
