Sheikh Majid Al Qasimi visits SCFA
Sheikh Majid bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Head of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs in Sharjah, headed a delegation visiting the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, along with Abdullah Suleiman Al Kabouri, Director of the Councils Affairs Department, Muhammad Ahmad Al Jasmi, Head of the Public Relations Department, and Muhammad Ali Al Hosani, Head of Media Department, and Saif Ahmed Rubari.
The delegation was received by Dr. Khawla Abdul Rahman Al Mulla, Chairman of the Family Affairs Authority and Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah; Moudhi Al Shamsi, Head of the Family Development Centers Department, Eman Rashid, Director of the Health Education Department ;Hanadi Al Yafei, Director of the Child Safety Department, and Latifa Al Darmaki, Deputy Director The Cultural and Media Office, as part of the field visits that boost cooperation in community service
The delegation discussed achieving joint cooperation between the department and the council, in order to reach families in residential neighborhoods in a way that enhances the roles of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in cooperation with the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs in promoting positive values, and identifying the challenges facing the family in order to develop programs and initiatives that support family’s stability and overcome the challenges it faces.
Her Excellency Dr. Khawla Al Mulla welcomed the delegation, and expressed the readiness of the council administrations for all forms of cooperation between them and the department, with the aim of achieving maximum benefit and achieving the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the wife of His Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, President of the Council The Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, in ensuring the achievement of stability for the family and society through the integration of the institutions concerned with them.
Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi stressed the keenness of the Suburbs and Villages Affairs Department to strengthen its permanent efforts with all authorities and institutions, including the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, with the aim of integrating roles between government institutions to serve citizens and residents in Sharjah. He added that the current number of suburban and village councils is 12, and there are two councils are under implementation, stressing that the councils are open to the people, not only for wedding and mourning occasions, but to listen to them, learn about their problems and contribute to solving their problems, as well as hosting government departments with programs that serve the people of the suburbs, and enhance social cohesion and family cohesion.
