Recognizing the importance of building a cohesive and stable family that cherishes its identity and culture and the need to help the family shoulder its evolving roles and responsibilities, as well as to contribute to the implementation of community development plans, the Sharjah Supreme Council for Family Affairs was founded based on Emiri Decree No. (24) of 2000, and consists of departments operating in the field of social and cultural development, family protection, care and rehabilitation of its members.
